Marvel’s ‘Black Panther’ Gets A Teaser Trailer & Poster

Marvel Black Panther 2018The first look at Marvel’s Black Panther is here with the release of an official poster and teaser trailer!

We were first introduced to Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War who teamed up with Tony Stark when the superheroes faced off against one another. As for his own movie, in a recent interview with Complex, Marvel producer Nate Moore spoke about what we can expect from the film.

“What’s great is that people have already met Chadwick [Boseman] in Civil War, so now we get to jump in feet first without having to tell a more traditional origin story. We meet him as his world is changing. Black Panther takes place right after the events of Civil War, so T’Challa’s father has just been killed, he has returned home to Wakanda, and T’Challa has to navigate potentially becoming the new ruler of this nation. He never intended to become the king for years because he figured his dad would be around for a long time. T’Chaka’s death is, in a lot of ways, the catalyst for everything that’s happening in Black Panther.”

Chadwick Boseman revealed on Twitter that his character will also be starring in Avengers: Infinity War which is currently filming and scheduled to be released next May.

The film stars Chadwick Boseman (Captain America: Civil War), Michael B. Jordan (Creed), Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years A Slave), Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead), Martin Freeman (The Hobbit), Angela Basset (American Horror Story), Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings) and John Kani (Captain America: Civil War).

Black Panther is scheduled to hit theatres February next year.
